Military Fire Training for Fire Inspector II TrainingThis is a contract program only!
This program meets the State of Indiana requirements for IFSAC certification which can then be exchanged for DOD requirements. Fire Inspector II (Pre-requisite Fire Inspector I) This program utilizes the IFSTA Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement (7th edition) as the text and a comprehensive source for both uniformed and civilian inspectors. This program and manual educates inspectors about the principles and techniques of fire prevention and life-safety inspection and code compliance. It addresses NFPA® 1031, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner, Level II of the 2009 edition. In addition, this program and manual has also been written to meet the learning objectives of the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) Principles of Code Enforcement course. This is a reference manual for both uniformed and civilian inspectors. Upon completion of the basic course requirements, students will be eligible for DOD and/or National Certification (IFSAC) at the Fire Inspector II level provided a final exam score of 70% or higher is achieved and course job performance reviews are successfully completed and additional pre-requisites are attained.
